They entered Snider's apartment and to their utmost surprised found Dorothy lying facedown on the bed. The celeb was nude and clad in blood. There were also 2 handprints that were bloody on her buttocks.

Snider was also found dead lying next to her on the floor. He was also naked and his lift eye was dangling from its socket. Next to Dorothy there found a strange apparatus which were identified by the coroner's office as "love contraption" or sex bench. It was assumed that Snider may have developed this equipment.
Though not cleared but it was speculated by the Coroner office that Dorothy was murdered by her husband Snider. He first killed her and then strapped the bloody corpse to the sex bench. He had sex for around 30 minutes with the body. Finally, when he was done, Snider blew out his brains.
