Kurt Donald Cobain, born on the twentieth of February 1967, was the lead singer and guitarist of the grunge band Nirvana. As per Dave Grohl’s opinion, Kurt Cobain believed that "Music comes first, lyrics return second." His beliefs bought grunge acts immense popularity for catchy riffs and distinct melodies. Kurt Donald Cobain was really a rock icon and reached to legendary features. But this man of genius and one of the famous musical personalities was assassinated on 8thApril, 1994. His corpse was found dead in his residence of Lake Washington. His death was due to a shotgun that was pointed at his chin.

Along with Grant there was a freelance journalist called Richard Lee who brought this fact to public that Cobain was murdered. To support the theory that Cobain was murdered supporters draw the question of absence of blood in the scene. However, the question was explained by the experts that though a shotgun blast to the head will end in a huge quantity of blood splatter, a blast to the mouth would result in less blood splatter. Hence claim of murder can be overruled.

However, there were some other reasons that called the fact that Cobain’s death was not suicide but murder. One of such strong points that defined Cobain’s death a murder was the presence of heroine in his blood. As per report of toxicology at the time of Cobain’s death heroine levels of his bloodstream’s were too high and it might was not possible for him to gain the strength to drag the trigger.

The most interesting turn to his death was that the possible murder or the person who was responsible for Cobain’s death was none other Courtney Love. Nick Broomfield’s investigation brought that interesting turn pointing to words of El Duce that he was offered $50,000 by Love to kill Cobain. Duce also claimed that he knew the murderer of Cobain but finally he denied and Cobain’s death remained as a controversial topic. Like many other unsolved Hollywood murders death of Cobain also remained as a case that was not solved.
